Description
Also known as luffing jib tower crane consists of metal structure, operation structure and electric system. And metal structure includes tower body, swing arm and base, etc. The swing arm is mounted on the top of rotary crane. Such tower crane has large working space. Classification
Derrick tower crane can be subdivided into stationary type and walking type. Stationary luffing jib tower crane is widely used nowadays.
Stationary tower crane has three movements in three directions.
1. Lifting movement.
Hoisting mechanism is utilized to achieve under-mountain vertical movement for goods.
2. Jib Luffing Movement
Jib lubbing mechanism is adopted to make diameter-direction movement within the rotation scope of the tower crane.
3. Swing Movement
Swing mechanism and swing support are employed to carry out circling movement within arm length range.
According to whether the arm can do upward movement, derrick tower crane can be classified into swing type and non-swing pattern.
