Description
A drilling rig is a machine which creates holes in the ground. They sample sub-surface mineral deposits, test rock, soil and groundwater physical properties, and also can be used to install sub-surface fabrications, such as underground utilities, instrumentation, tunnels or wells. drill rigs can be mobile equipment mounted on trucks, tracks or trailers, or more permanent land or marine-based structures (such as oil platforms, commonly called “offshore oil rigs” even if they don’t contain a drilling rig).

Classifications
1. Crawler DTH Drill Rig

2. Hydraulic Rotary Drill Rig

It is used to drill blasting holes like conventional holes and cut holes in the above drivage engineering fields. Such drilling rig is suitable for small and medium-sized roadway cross section (10 m2 to 22 m2). The width of the drilling rig is 1.2 m. The drilling diameter can be 27 mm to 42 mm.
