1. Operators must pass the examination and get machine operation certificate before working.
2. Silent diesel generators are equipped with rain-proof, wind proof and fire proof device. a ground should be dry and the rack should be steady. Insulating pad, instrument protecting device, earth lead, cable and channel protective device should be mounted on silent diesel generator sets.
3. Check the electric generator and exciter before starting up.
4. When prime motor reaches rated speed, gradually reduce the resistance of field rheostat so as to guarantee the increased voltage is no more than max. rated speed.
