Description
Screw air compressor can be utilized for spinning and spray finishing, medical, chemical, and electronic, food processing and light industry. It is composed of air flow system, lubricating oil flow system, cooling system, safety protection system, control system and electric circuit. This screw compressor adopts complete configuration in advance. Only simplex power connection and compressed air connection needs finishing. In addition, the screw air compressor has built-in cooling system. All this makes simplified installation of screw compressor.
This air compressor can be classified into different types—oil-less screw air compressor, oil free screw compressor, oil injected (screw) air compressor, single screw (air) compressor and double screw air compressor.

Attentions When Purchasing
1. Discharge Pressure
The greater the discharge pressure, the more the energy consumption, so avoid selecting screw air compressors with excessive discharge pressure. Clients can set lower limiting pressure value according to the sum pressure of needed pressure, pipe resistance loss and attached equipment. As a general rule, the diameter of transporting air pipe-line should be larger so as to reduce resistance loss and achieve the goal of long-time running and energy saving.
2. G Displacement
Clients can select screw air compressor according to the value that the actual venting amount times 1.1-1.2. If this value is too low, it may be not able to reach the specified value of the screw air compressor. If the value is excessively large, it may lead to big reducing load energy consumption and uneconomical reducing load operation.
Conforming to the requirements of screw air compressors by air equipment industry, clients or users can select the right screw compressors with suitable attached equipments. Two aspects should be considered as follows.
1) Reduce the oil content in the compressed air and adopt oil cleaning cartridge. If it has high treatment index, clients can choose multilevel processing.
2) Reduce the moisture content in the compressed air and clients can employ dewatering equipment.

Maintenance
1. Check the oil level, discharge temperature and discharge pressure every day. And inspect whether there is abnormal noise.
2. Open separator drain valve and discharge condensed water before starting up every week. Check whether there is leakage; inspect safety valve and the abrasion of the belt (by visual inspection).
3. Make regular checking on the in-air control valve, minimum pressure valve, electric cabinet connecting terminals, safety valve and cooling fan.
4. Clean the cooler regularly and test the reliability of the safety valve.
5. Replace the oil filter, oil separator filter and air inlet filter cartridge and lubricating oil periodically.
